Visit to the Lord in 1941

In January 1941, we were able to visit
the Lord in Kipsdorf, the Ore Mountains, by our request. We did not envision
that then would be the last time. There He found refuge in the home of a
dedicated servant to Him, and He praised the house and the beautiful scenery
with its many forests. There He sought solitude and avoided visits. But we
could see that He continued to form in respect of the Work, to the Message,
that He had not abandoned us.
With an indescribable kindness He
received us, after a while, took us to His office and talked about His earlier
plans. But He also spoke:
"Tell everyone that the Message
should no longer be passed on. Mankind must first undergo greater suffering!"
And in parting He said passionately:
"As soon as I want, the Settlement will again be mine!"
This sentence was fulfilled, only
differently than we had believed at that time. A few months later, in December,
the Lord left the earth, that had become "stateless", as He in these
years had once designated, had made. Without earthly protection, exposed to new
attacks of darkness, He returned to His Kingdom. Then, no hate, no hostility
could no longer reach Him and, by this, we are deeply grateful.
But that deep pain of soul, that sadness
and apprehensive fear was present on that day of the burial in His hometown, to
which He had returned, closing the circle of His earthly life! As we had asked
and feared, if the Lord would give up His Work for humanity!
But when everything had finished and
many flowers covered the earth, where the Lord had been put, heaven, which
until then had been heavily overcast, cleared, a light glow, as in a portal,
opened, and a faint hope took hold again in our hearts.
